Auckland CBD walking – High St, Lorne St

I fell in love with Queen Street as soon as I arrived in Auckland. Wide and very busy business street with scyscrapers and other attributes of city center. However, few years later, I started personally avoid Queen Street due to some reasons. Especially, because there are a few tiny alternative streets nearby, which go in parallel to Queen Street. 🙂

The main advantage of High Street which becomes Lorne Street at some point is it is a small,
very nice and cosy streets with old buildings preserved. For some of you, walking down these streets can remind you some British towns, or even London. Despite the fact, these streets are very narrow than the main street of Auckland, there are not so many people and not so many rubbish on them. Most important, these are those streets with its own, well preserved history, and enourmous amounts of details. Which I will point your attention next time. Enjoy 🙂
