Ice fishing, Lake Berchikul, December 2015

This winter I had ice fishing for a first time in my life. Honestly, I was trying to understand why did they wake me up at 5:30AM and what I’m doing here – just a reminder, unlike New Zealand and Australia, December in Siberia is winter month with cold, windy and uncomfortable weather. Fishes were so small and didn’t bite at all. But it became a bit warmer right after dawn so after lunch I got so many hungry fishes under ice so I was in real hurry! What an excitement! When I came back home I learned Berchikul is the biggest lake of Kuzbass. Higly recommended 🙂
