South Island 2014 Mt Cook – Lake Tekapo

Mt Cook was the only one place of South Island where it was cloudy and drizzlng first time for the last 12 days of our trip. We were so lucky we could see the mountain in clear weather before!

In the morning we walked on 3hours Hooker valley track (which we managed to walk in 2hours) and another four smaller tracks with total duration of two hours.

On our back way we decided to visit Twizel to buy some medcine, food and to have lunch. I bought authentic pinup postcards of New Zealand so if you still haven’t subscribed to this blog you have a chance! 🙂

There are strong winds near lake Tekapo so I guess lupines and other awesomeness will be watched tomorrow!
